All Jewish students welcome

As a warmly inclusive school, PHDS welcomes children from the entire Jewish religious spectrum (Orthodox to unaffiliated), from the entire academic spectrum (intellectually gifted to children with intellectual challenges or learning disabilities), and from all socioeconomic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

While we genuinely respect the rich diversity of Jewish life, we work to instill a love of Sabbath observance, Jewish dietary laws, and the timeless values of the Torah and its commandments in our students, which we encourage their families to support in their homes.

We strive to instill high standards of good citizenship that will serve our students well – now and for the rest of their lives. This begins with the practice of Derech Eretz (proper respect) and continues with Torah values including ethics, morality and kindness.
